WHAT ARE THE AGE REQUIREMENTS
Playwrights have to be 16 years or older. Must be a resident on the Gulf Coast. (Mobile, Pensascola, Fairhope, Biloxi, Gulfport, Moss Point etc).

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF MY PLAY IS SELECTED?
Playwights will be notified by in August if their submission was selected.

WHAT SHOULD THE PLAY BE ABOUT?

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY PLAY?
Submissions must have a theme of suicide or suicide prevention

HOW LONG SHOULD THE PLAY BE?
There is no page requirement, however the running time of your production should not exceed 30 minutes. These submissions should be one-act plays.

WHAT FORMAT SHOULD THE PLAY BE WRITTEN IN?
You can Google play formats and research what is acceptable in formatting plays. This is to ensure the board will be able to read your submission smoothly.
Please make sure you save your play as a PDF and upload it as an attachment to the email.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I AM SELECTED?
After you are selected, the CEO will meet with you to discuss if any re-writes are necessary, the actors will audition, the actors will assume a rehearsal schedule, and the performance debut. You will work together with the director ensuring the vision of your play comes to life beautifully.
